HARD DISK RECORDING APPARATUS, HARD DISK RECORDING SYSTEM, PROGRAM FOR RECORDING DATA THERETO, AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR RECORDING THE PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk drive (HDD) recording apparatus and system capable of recording input data without causing missing of the data even on the occurrence of improper connection in an external HDD. SOLUTION: An HDD recorder 10 includes: a built-in HDD 20; a connector 21 for connection to an external HDD 30; and a CPU 11. The HDD recorder 10, to which the external HDD 30 is connected, divides areas of the built-in HDD 20 into first and second areas, records data to the first area, starts recording of data to the second area when the first area is fully occupied by the data, and transfers the data recorded in the first area to the external HDD 30 in parallel with recording of the data to the second area. Then the HDD recorder 10 records the data to the second area, starts recording of the data to the first area when the second area is fully occupied with the data, and transfers the data recorded in the second area to the external HDD 30 in parallel with the recording of the data to the first area.
