ELECTRIC ACTUATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electric actuator in which a stroke of a slide rod is lengthened in the electric actuator moving the slide rod back and forth in the axial direction by operation of an electric motor. SOLUTION: A spline nut 6 at the back of a slide cover 5 is axially movably disposed on the outer periphery of a spline shaft 4 rotated by the electric motor 3 disposed in a body case 2. An inner peripheral female screw 17 of a guide cover 7 fixed to the body case is fitted to an outer peripheral male screw 16 of the spline nut 6. An outer peripheral male screw 18 at the back of the slide rod 8 that lies on the progress side of the spline nut 6 and is engaged with the outer periphery of the spline shaft 4 is fitted to an inner peripheral female screw 15 of the slide cover 5. In this structure, the electric motor 3 is driven in a state in which the slide rod 8 is mounted to the external driven side, thereby allowing two stages of telescopic motion of the slide cover 5 and the slide rod 8.
