Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerization catalyst for obtaining an α-olefin polymer of high quality and a method for manufacturing an α-olefin polymer. SOLUTION: The catalyst for α-olefin polymerization is obtained by contacting the following (A), (B), (C) and (D) together: (A) a solid catalyst component comprising as essential ingredients Ti, Mg and a halogen; (B) an organoaluminum compound; (C) a compound bearing a -C-O-C-O-C- bonding group; and (D) a 1,3-diether compound. The method for manufacturing an α- olefin polymer comprises subjecting an α-olefin to homopolymerization or copolymerization using the catalyst for α-olefin polymerization. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
