EMBOSSED CARRIER TAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that inspection by image recognition becomes impossible since a mat finish portion becomes flat when the mat finish is conducted before embossing, that a thin portion of a tape main body is bored since the tape is stretched while being embossed when the mat finish is conducted during embossing, that accuracy of image recognition can not be enhanced since unevenness of the mat finish portion is detected when the accuracy of image recognition is enhanced and that housed parts are damaged or collapsed by vibration and shock during transportation since the conventional product shows weak buckling strength in the embossed portion. SOLUTION: The embossed carrier tape has a tape main body 1 equipped with a plurality of concave housing portions 2 arranged spaced-apart at a constant interval along the lengthwise direction and a cover tape laminated along the tape main body 1 to cover the opening portion of the housing portion 2. Concave and convex portions 4 extending in the direction toward the concave portion of the housing portion 2 are arranged on the part or the whole of the inner wall 3 of the housing portion 2.
