Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the direct calculation of the sludge concentration of sludge to be measured from a plurality of the amounts of ultrasonic attenuation obtained by applying a plurality of ultrasonic waves with different frequencies to the sludge. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic sludge concentration measuring system having an ultra sonic transmitter 2 and an ultrasonic receiver 3, which determines the sludge concentration from the amounts of the attenuation of the ultrasonic waves transmitted to the sludge the system is provided with a frequency switching means switching the frequencies of the ultrasonic transmitted and a sludge concentration computing means 6 computing the sludge concentration of the sludge from the amounts of the attenuation of the ultrasonic obtained by transmitting at least two kinds of frequencies of ultrasonic to the sludge.
