Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a vibration noise and an impact noise by adjusting an engaging time of an inner engagement surface of a silent chain, to enhance durability by preventing stress concentration and abrasion at an inner engagement surface of a link plate, the inside of thigh-like curved part and a tooth tip part of a sprocket, and to reduce a burden of chain assembling and a burden of a manufacturing accuracy. SOLUTION: The link plate 11 of the silent chain 10 is provided with the inner engagement surface 11a and an outer engagement surface 11b have the same shape as a cross section of tooth shape outlined/formed in a direction of hob axis of a hob cutter HC making a sprocket tooth 21. The sprocket 20 for engaging and seating the outer engagement surface 11a of the link plate 11 on a chain traveling line Lc of the sprocket tooth 21 is provided with a tooth tip part 22 to avoid a contact interference with the inside-of-thigh-like curved part 11c of the link plate 11.
