Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maximum Doppler frequency estimating device that has a simple constitution and can estimate the maximum Doppler frequency with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A data extracting section 23 for pilot symbol extracts a pilot symbol P inserted into each slot in one frame. A normalized moving distance calculating section 24 calculates 'normalized moving distances' which are the 'moving distances' of two averaged pilot symbols P separated from each other by a distance on a phase plane, and normalized in accordance with the distances (received signal intensities) from an origin 0 after averaging close pilot symbols. A sliding average output section 25 outputs the accumulated average value of the 'normalized moving distances' and an estimated fd value output section 26 outputs the estimated value of the maximum Doppler frequency fd.
