CONNECTING SUPPORT WITH RETAINING COLLAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting support with a contact function and a retaining function separated from each other. SOLUTION: This connecting support 1 is equipped with an insulating housing 2 provided with a coaxial connector 7 in its inside. The coaxial connector 7 is equipped with a plug-shaped load contact 8 and an earth contact part 9. The load contact part is disposed in a cavity part of the housing. The earth contact part is located on the inside peripheral part 12 of the cavity part. The support is equipped with a retaining collar used for connecting it to the outside peripheral part of the corresponding connector insertable into the cavity. The outside peripheral part is the same as a peripheral part for the earth contact part to be connected. The retaining collar preferably has an open type annular shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
