PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the regular use of independent pieces of set information even in the connection to a computer having no network set information by allowing the carrying of the set information for communication. SOLUTION: This communication device comprises at least one communication means for connecting a computer to a network; a means for recording a plurality of pieces of set information for connection; a means for selecting set information for connection from the recorded set information; a means for adding, eliminating, and changing information to the selected set information; a means for connecting the computer to the network according to the added, eliminated, and changed set information; and a communication means with the computer.
