COMPUTER PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer peripheral device causing no impairment of the function of a computer, superior in convenience in use, and capable of protecting a connector connected to the computer from damage and fouling. SOLUTION: A connector holding part 20 is arranged in a part of a wall part for forming the outside of a housing part 18 in the width direction of a case 12 so as to be positioned on the extension of an end part of a cable housing part 18B. This connector holding part 20 presents a recessed part in the shape of running along an external shape of an engaging part 1608 of a connector 16. The engaging part 1608 is constituted so as to be engageably- disengageably held by the connector holding part 20. The connector 16 is constituted so as to become an attitude of projecting outside the case 12, that is, an attitude attachable to and detachable from a computer side connector in a state of holding the connector 16 in the connector holding part 20.
