ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE AND PROCESS CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device which excels even in the characteristics in repetitively outputting images, has can supply images of high image quality, high definition and having excellent gradation characteristics for a long period of time while maintaining the developability even in an electrophotographic developing method using a toner (spherical toner) of a small diameter having high circularity as toner and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic device has a developing means which has a contact electrostatically charging member, one-component toner for dry process having a specific diameter and circularity and an elastic roller, and forms a toner image by developing the electrostatic latent image formed on an electrophotographic photoreceptor by bringing the toner layer formed on the elastic roller by the toners into contact with the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor while rotationally moving the elastic roller and the electrophotographic photoreceptor by means of the toner on the above toner layer. The above electrophotographic device has the electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a phthalocyanine compound in a charge generating layer and a polyarylate resin in a charge transfer layer and the process cartridge.
