Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high-strength steel wire with ≥1,200 N/mm2tensile strength combining excellent delayed fracture resistance and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The high-strength steel wire is composed of steel which contains 0.5 to 1.0% C and also contains one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Cu, Ni and Ti in the amounts satisfying inequality 3.1≥3[Cu]+[Ni]+6[Ti]≥0.1(%) (wherein, [Cu], [Ni] and [Ti] represent respective contents of Cu, Ni and Ti).
