OPERATION METHOD FOR BAG FILTER AND OPERATION DEVICE PERFORMING THIS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for a bag filter capable of stably removing a harmful component in exhaust gas on a definite removing level and capable of avoiding the clogging of filter cloth beforehand, and an operation device performing this method. SOLUTION: In a method for spraying a chemical agent on exhaust gas and collecting and removing a harmful component in the exhaust gas by a pulse jet type bag filter apparatus 11, the powder layer 4 comprising various powders on the surface of the filter cloth 12 of the bag filter is divided into a primary layer 2 not almost participated in reaction and difficult to shake off at the time of usual operation and a secondary layer 3 other than the primary layer 2 and the difference pressure of the primary layer 2 or the ratio thereof to the total difference pressure is estimated on the basis of the physical property value showing back washing capacity at the beginning of operation or at the time of stable operation and, when the difference pressure or the ratio becomes a predetermined value or more, the clogging of the filter cloth 12 of the bag filter is judged to be started to augment the back washing due to a back washing means.
