Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing bamboo seedlings in a high rooting rate and in good production efficiency. SOLUTION: A bamboo piece 5 obtained by cutting the stem portion of Bambusa glaucescens in a prescribed length containing a plurality of joints is placed in a water tank 1 filled with water 6 and approximately horizontally held in the water below the water surface. Oxygen is charged into the water in the water tank 1 from an oxygen generator 2 through a hose 3 and a bubbler 4. One or more holes are preferably formed in one or more stem (b) portions between the joints (a) and joints (a) to flood the insides of the stem portions. A plurality of bamboo pieces may preferably be arranged in a raft-like shape, and a weight such as a tree rod or a metal pipe may preferably be loaded on the raft to hold the raft at a lower place by about 5 cm than the water surface. Thereby, the oxygen charged in the water promotes the germination and rooting of the joint portions (a) of the bamboo piece, and prevents the decay of the bamboo piece. The bamboo piece can be germinated and rooted in a high germination rate of about 100% after about 20 days to give the bamboo seedlings having a high percentage of rootage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
