SOLUTION: A bird-and-beast hazard protective cover comprises a pair of semi-hat-shaped electrical insulating resin cover bodies; flanges mounted on the joining faces of the cover bodies; connecting segments that connect the flanges of the cover bodies with each other; and a metal fitting that fits the joined cover body to the upper region of the long rod insulator of a power transmission line suspension device.
