DIGITAL DISK RECORDER AND RECORDING AND REPRODUCING METHOD FOR IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital disk recorder which enables simultaneously reproducing audiovisual data in parallel in accordance with the recording order even in the case of the existence of a plurality of audio-visual files including audiovisual data recorded in a reproducing designation time which a user designates. SOLUTION: Audiovisual files are grouped into a plurality of groups in accordance with file attributes which the user has set by a file management means 17, and the latest audiovisual file is retrieved from each of grouped audiovisual files by a retrieval processing means 19 at a reproducing start time designated by the user, and audiovisual data nearest to the reproducing start time in audiovisual files in each group retrieved by the retrieval processing means 19 are set as reproducing candidate data, and respective groups are simultaneously reproduced in parallel.
