Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable capacitor having a lead member for external drawing, free from stress on its lead member in the course of a sealing process. SOLUTION: A metal case 4 containing a capacitor element 1 is sealed with a sealer 3 pierced holes 3a. Making pits 3b whose diameter is 0.2 mm or more larger than that of the lead member 2 and depth is deeper than the one-fourth or more of the thickness of the sealer at the holes 3 on the capacitor element side of the sealer 3. Stress is relieved on the lead member 2 around the capacitor element 1, an increase in current leakage and a short circuit due to a breaking of wire is prevented in the case that the sealer 3 and the lead member 2 are pressed toward the center when the metal case 4 is deeply drawn into a round ring to seal its circumference.
