VENTILATOR FOR BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator for a building which provides appropriate ventilation throughout the year even in an area where temperature difference between winter and summer is large. SOLUTION: This ventilator 1, an improved conventional passive ventilation system, is installed in a two-storied house 2 whose foundation is heat-insulated. An air supply opening 3 is provided in a foundation 2a, and an air supply duct 4 is provided from the air supply opening 3 toward the inside of an underfloor space 2b. An air filter 6, a fan 7, an outdoor temperature sensor 8, and an air volume sensor 9 are provided in the air supply duct 4. A floor opening 10 is provided in a floor 2c of the house 2, and an exhaust opening 11 is provided in the upper position of a second-floor room 2g. With the ventilator of the present invention, natural ventilation by the passive ventilation system is complemented, the number of revolutions of the fan 7 is reduced so as to prevent over-ventilation in winter when temperature difference between the inside and outside of the house 2 is large, and the number of revolutions of the fan 7 is increased so as to ensure the needed amount of ventilation in a season when temperature difference between the inside and outside of the house 2 is small.
