Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome roof, the construction works of which are comparatively simple, which is also maintained easily and the manufacturing cost of which is reduced, and its open-close driving device. SOLUTION: The open-close type dome roof 1 supported on a peripheral wall by beams 5 is composed of a plurality of split roof sections radially extended from a center. The split roof sections contain fixed roof sections 3 placed on the outer peripheral side of the dome roof and connected annularly and moving roof sections 2, which can be moved among open places and closed places, are positioned on the central side of the dome roof surrounded by the fixed roof sections when the roof 1 is positioned at the closed places and are superposed and positioned to the fixed roof sections when the roof 1 is positioned at the open places. The dome roof 1 has winchs installed on the peripheral wall and wire ropes transferring a motion to each moving roof section from the winchs regarding each of the split roof sections.
