LOOP CONTROL DEVICE FOR STEEL STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop control device for a steel strip which can control a loop amount without deteriorating the quality of a cut end, generating a slip, and also, without requiring a very large drive device even if a feeder is used as an outlet roll. SOLUTION: In the loop control device for the steel strip which controls the fluctuation of the loop amount of the steel strip loop SL for feed adjusting formed to the steel strip S when the steel strip S fed out from an uncoiler 17 is fed in a regular length to a blanking press 18 by the feeder 23, the device has a line speed command forming part 14 to output a line speed command VL for controlling the feed-out speed of the steel strip S so as to control the fluctuation of the loop amount within a specific range based on the speed command VF to the feeder 23 and its average speed.
