Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor that is large in appearance ratio and superior in moisture resistance, a sintered body by which it can be manufactured, and a powder for the capacitor. SOLUTION: A powder for capacitor made mainly of earth-acid metal containing a phosphorus at 3 mass ppb to 1 mass ppm is obtained. The powder is sintered as it is or after it is granulated, to produce a sintered body.
