METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR SUSPICION PROBABILITY GENERATION AND SERVICE PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspicion probability generating method which can generate how suspicious a plurality of suspicious components are as suspicion probability if an interface error occurs. SOLUTION: A service processor 10 is equipped with an interface control circuit 13, an HDD 16, etc., connected to PCBs 21 to 28 constituting an information processor 20. An HDD 15 stores a PROB table 1 in which symbols of a calculation expression for suspicion probability are defined for a combination of code numbers possibly described in the U1 part and E1 part of an error code, a CALC table 2 in which calculation expressions corresponding to the symbols defined in the table 1 are described, and a suspicion probability generating program 3. The suspicion probability generating program 3 makes a CPU 11 read a unit fault rate corresponding to the code numbers described in the U part and E part of the error code out of the PROB table 1 and also read the calculation expression corresponding to the combination of both the code numbers out of the CALC table 2 to calculate the suspicious probability of each PCB.
