ZOOM LENS BARREL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compact and inexpensive concrete constitution achieving a flare preventing effect for a variable focus zoom lens barrel by improving the shape of a light shielding groove formed on the inner surface of the lens barrel. SOLUTION: In this zoom lens barrel whose both ends a 1st group lens 1 and a 3rd group lens 3 are respectively fixed at and which is provided with the saw-toothed light shielding groove 12a on the inner wall of a cylindrical body inside which a 2nd group lens 2 can be movably housed so as to prevent a situation that light made incident from an object side and passing through the 1st group lens 1 is reflected on the inner wall of the cylindrical body and reaches an imaging device as a harmful light beam, the angle of the edge of the groove 12a is set so that the angle of the edge of the groove 12a positioned on the lens 3 side may be larger than that of the groove 12a positioned on the lens 1 side.
