Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation not only exhibiting neither primary irritancy nor sensitization to the skin but also giving the skin no unpleasant feeling such as stinging pain, tingling feel or itchy feel when applied to the skin. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation contains a decomposed product of collagen or gelatin which is obtained by splitting collagen or gelatin by collagenase and especially, of collagen or gelatin containing a tripeptide with its amino acid sequence shown by the formula: (Gly-X-Y)n (wherein, Gly is a glycine residue; X and Y are each an amino acid residue; and n is a positive integer), and has the effect of mitigating the irritancy or unpleasant feeling to the skin inherent in the antiseptic/moldproofing agent as an ingredient of the skin care preparation.
