Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy vehicle body frame capable of ensuring high dimensional accuracy. SOLUTION: A frame member 1 is formed in such a manner as both ends 1a of an aluminum alloy plate, as viewed in a widthwise section, are bent so that the cross section is U-shaped. A positioning member 4 is welded to the inner surface of the frame member 1. The positioning member 4 is formed in such a manner as both ends 4a of the aluminum alloy plate, as viewed in one section, are bent so that the cross section is U-shaped, and the distance between the outer walls of both ends 4a equals the distance W between the inner walls of both ends 1a. The positioning member 4 is disposed inside the frame member 1, so that the whole outer surface snugly fits and is welded to the inner surface of the frame member 1, at a position aligning with a clamp position for example. With the tips of the ends 4a at positions lower than the tips of the ends 1a, the height difference is designed to be equal to the height of the overlapped part of the frame member 1 with the frame member 2 inserted therein.
