Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently function a cushioning member, to enhance durability of the cushioning member, and to preclude a tool from getting large in its size. SOLUTION: In the impact tool provided with an intermediate striker 8 receiving directly impact force of a striker reciprocating inside a cylinder 5, and a front cover 2 for holding a tip tool 1 receiving the impact force via the intermediate striker 8, a regulation member 10 for limiting an axis- directional moving amount of the tip tool 1 within a fixed value is provided in the front cover 2, the cushioning member having a circular cross section is provided between the intermediate striker 8 and an axis-directional abutting end face 2a of the striker 8 existing inside the front cover 2, and an O-ring 9 is used as the cushioning member.
