INFORMATION SYSTEM ASSET MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information system asset management device and method capable of efficiently integrating in real time system assets developed on a network, and managing the validity of the assets in real time. SOLUTION: The information system asset management device and method is for integrally managing the system assets installed in each component element of an information system and includes an asset information typifying means for defining the management sections of the system assets, collecting information about each component element, and registering information about the system assets needed for the management sections; an asset information registering means for associating the information about the system assets with the information about each component element in the management sections to store these pieces of information as a management register of the system assets; and an asset collating means for collecting the information about the system assets installed in the component elements, and referring to the corresponding management register in the registering means to check the identity of the system assets.
