DEVICE FOR REMOVING HARMFUL COMPONENT IN GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for efficiently removing PM, NOx, CO2, etc., flown out of various devices using a diesel fuel. SOLUTION: This harmful component-removing device is provided with a planar member having at least a hole through which a gas flow toward an outflow port passes, a water solution containing essential oil storing tank provided on a lower side of a flow passage of the gas flow passing through at least one hole and storing water solution containing essential oil, a first harmful component scavenging material for scavenging absorbents formed by contacting vapor generated from water solution containing essential oil and harmful components in the gas flow, a mist separator for separating and removing the harmful components from the gas flow passing through the first harmful component scavenging material, and a container having the outflow port and storing the planar member, the water solution containing essential oil storing tank, the first harmful component scavenging material and the mist separator. By such a device, PM, NOxand CO2, etc., can be removed efficiently. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
