ELECTRIC CROSSING GATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a rising position of a crossing gate with simple structure when a power source is cut for maintenance or the like. SOLUTION: This electric crossing gate is formed of a motor for driving a gate rod with the predetermined power source, a first brake to be operated by the predetermined power source to hinder the rotating force of the motor at the predetermined rising position or the predetermined lowering position of the gate rod, a second brake for allowing the rotation of the motor when the predetermined current is supplied from the predetermined power source and for hindering the rotation of the motor when the current is cut, a storage battery to be charged on the basis of the predetermined power source, an interruption of service detecting means for detecting an interruption of service of the predetermined power source, a switch mechanism to be operated when the gate rod is positioned higher than the predetermined rising position, and a stop means for stopping the supply of the current from the storage battery to the second brake 2 when the interruption of service of the predetermined power source is detected and the gate rod is positioned higher than the predetermined rising position.
