Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing agent for removing a polystyrene from a steam hole of a mold used for manufacturing an expanded styrol. SOLUTION: The agent for removing a clogging substance from the mold for manufacturing the expanded styrol, especially the clogging substance from a steam hole of the mold, contains a limonene or a mixture of the limonene and 0.05 to 30%, preferably 0.1 to 3% of a sesquiterpene. In addition, the method for removing a clogging substance from the mold for manufacturing the expanded styrol, especially the steam hole, comprises the steps to apply the agent to polystyrene tailings sticking to the mold, then get them swollen and easily remove the swollen polystyrene tailings by a physical means 1 such as high pressure water.
