Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high recording speed by reducing the emission output of a light source since there is a great demand for a high recording speed and, for a popular product generally used for the light source of an optical head, a highest emission output cannot catch up with the demand for the high recording speed. SOLUTION: An optical head 1 has at least two light sources 1a, 1b, the light sources 1a, 1b are simultaneously driven independently, optical beams emitted from the light sources 1a, 1b to a disk are arranged on the same track of the disk, and a recording mark is formed on the disk by preceding and succeeding optical beams. Thus, by increasing a temperature to a level necessary for forming the recording mark on the disk by both of the preceding and succeeding optical beams, the emission output of one light source for a recording speed is reduced.
