Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the problem that in order to mount an endless belt onto a belt support frame for the endless belt, the entire circumference of the belt support frame is required to be shorter than the inner circumference of the endless belt, which requires an increase in a distance to a tension roller and hence an increase in the size of the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The belt support frame is composed of a plurality of unit bodies separable in a direction perpendicular to the running direction of the endless belt. In addition, the fulcrum on which the belt support frame is bent is provided on the valley side so that the frame can be bent in a direction in which its entire outer circumference is smaller than the internal circumference of the endless belt.
