Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy composite member which is used in the sliding part of a cylinder bores or the like of an internal combustion engine and has light weight and excellent wear resistance and further is less prone to be worn and has scuff resistance and still further is less prone to be seized, and also to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy composite member 10 has Fe of 50-100 wt.% and 10-30 vol.% and is formed through compositing an aluminum alloy 30 with a porous metal 35 in which cells 37 are segmented by frames 36.
