PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handleable property and operability by eliminating the necessity to carry an electronic flash and further to reduce the fluctuation of a battery voltage by preventing a radio communication operation period from being overlapped with the period of power feeding operation to an electronic flash part or with the period of the image pickup display operation of a camera. SOLUTION: A camera 23 and an electronic flash circuit 30 are built in the device. Besides, before the charging operation start of the electronic flash circuit 30 and during a period of charging operation, a request of call originating/terminating or position registration/hand-over is monitored by a timing control function 20c so that the charging operation period of a capacitor 33 in the electronic flash circuit 30 can not be overlapped with the wireless transmitting operation period based on call originating/terminating or position registration/ hand-over. When such a request is detected, the charging operation is stopped and call originating/terminating or position registration/hand-over is controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
