NETWORK SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system to which as many video output devices as possible can be connected by connecting a plurality of the video output devices and a single video receiver via a digital interface, and positioning the video receiver at the vertex of tree connection as a route so as to secure a prescribed amount of the transmission band of the digital interface. SOLUTION: In the case of connecting a plurality of the video output devices and a single video receiver via the digital interface to constitute the network, the video receiver is made a route node without exception, and the plurality of video output devices are connected to form a tree-like topology bus having hierarchies not more than a prescribed number with the video receiver as the vertex. Thus, the prescribed amount of the transmission band of the digital interface is secured through the digital interface to connect as many video output devices as possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
