Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary or secondary chemical cell housed in a casing having opposed main sidewalls of a contoured shape as a countermeasure against a problem, wherein a transplant of a cell into a human body is very difficult because an enclosure shape of the cell has not been designed so as to be contoured for the shape of the human body into which the cell is transplanted, relating to the cell which is transplanted into the human body or the like. SOLUTION: Lithium cells are used in transplant-use medical instruments such as a fibrillation remover, a drug pump or the like, and a chargeable lithium ion secondary cell is used as a power source of a hearing-aid, an artificial heart or the like. The casing shapes of these cells have been formed of only a flat sidewall. Since the shape of this sidewall is made to be a curved casing shape having a prescribed curvature, it has become easy to transplant the battery into a body section which has been restricted.
