DEFLECTION YOKE, CATHODE-RAY TUBE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke which is capable of reducing horizontal inner pincushion distortions, 1/2YH vertical line twisting misconvergences and changes in the convergences and pincushion distortions due to the change in temperature together using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In a deflection yoke, having a horizontal deflection coils 4 and a vertical deflection coils 5 and also a pair of upper and lower distortion correcting magnets 6 and 7 disposed at the upper and lower sides in the Y-axis direction, a correction coil 9 which induces a magnetic field to the same direction as that of the distortion-correcting magnet 6, when beams are deflected upward is wound on the upper side magnet 6, and the other correcting coil 9, which induces a magnetic field to the direction opposite to that of the distortion-correcting magnet 7, when beams are deflected upward, is wound on the lower side magnet 7.
