Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for optical glass using an MX doped substance, which is friendly to the environment, high in effect to cost, and high in energy efficiency. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the optical glass and colored glass from a base material containing at least SiO2powder or, together with an additive for lowering temperature for fluid phase sintering process than that of quartz glass or an additive for changing quartz glass performance using fluid phase sintering is characterized in the following steps: a step for making a suspension in which the starting materials are dissolved in an arbitary order as much as possible, and the insoluble materials are dispersed as much as possible; a step for manufacturing a green matter from the starting materials dissolved and dispersed; a step for drying the green matter; a step for liquid phase sintering the dried green matter at ≤1,200°C, preferably in a temperature range of 600-1,200°C.
