Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and concentrate a component in a mixture as its material thereof, by selectively subjecting only specific molecules in the mixture to vibration excitation. SOLUTION: A method for separating the material is characterized by separating and concentrating a specific component in the mixture by changing a distribution ratio between two phases of the component contained in the mixture into a ratio different from an equilibrium condition by utilizing a selective photoexcitation action. The method for separating an isotope is characterized by separating and concentrating the component containing a specific isotope in the mixture by changing a concentration ratio in each phase of each component comprising at least two kinds of isotopes contained in the mixture into the ratio different from the equilibrium condition by utilizing the selective photoexcitation action.
