SOLUTION: This method for predicting the significance level of cancerization from an individual comprises (1) obtaining a sample originated from the individual, (2) analyzing the polymorphism of midkine gene on the sample in (1), and (3) predicting the significance level of cancerization from the polymorphism determined in (2).
