Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oxyalkylene group-containing polyvinyl alcohol-based resin in which foaming of a system can be controlled in both the cases of reaction at an early period of polymerization and recovery of an unreacted vinyl chloride monomer after polymerization end when a dispersant is used for suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride. SOLUTION: This oxyalkylene group-containing polyvinyl alcohol-based resin is obtained by saponifying an oxyalkylene group-containing vinyl ester- based copolymer which is obtained by copolymerization while feeding an oxyalkylene group-containing monomer, a vinyl ester monomer and a polymerization catalyst to a polymerization system by a continuous drip or a multifractionated drip.
