METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CASTING URETHANE ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for casting a urethane roller capable of manufacturing the roller which can be suitably used as various type roller member without generating an industrial waste without problem such as deterioration of surface properties, an irregularity in a density, an unevenness or the like in a roller performance by eliminating the problem of winding air in a high-pressure foaming method. SOLUTION: The method for casting the urethane roller comprises the steps of colliding to mix both a polyol component and an isocyanate component by a high pressure in a space generated, by retracting a cleaning rod and a plunger in a discharge head in the apparatus for casting in the case of forming an urethane foam layer, by casting the urethane material made of both the polyol component and the isocyanate component in a casting mold; discharging the urethane material in a high-pressure foamed state from a discharge port of the discharge head; and casting the material in the mold for molding. An opening/closing cover is provided at the discharge port. The method further comprises a step of closing the cover except at the time of charging the material in the mold, thereby preventing the air from advancing in the discharge head.
