Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism carrier capable of developing the high treatment capacity of an organic compound. SOLUTION: The microorganism carrier is constituted of a resin material mixed with a far infrared radiation material and the metabolic action of microorganisms adhering to the microorganism carrier is activated by far infrared rays emitted from the microorganism carrier. The far infrared radiation material is constituted by mixing a porous natural stone and/or a carbide. Further, the far infrared radiation material is constituted by making the resin material mixed with a foaming material porous. The surface area of the microorganism carrier is increased by this constitution to enable the adhesion of many microorganisms.
