Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel scraper of mud which hardly enables scraping blades to stick and deposit mud and can correspond to a change of layer thick ness of the conveyed mud with a simple mechanism when the sticky mud of water content 20-30% is scraped off to the prescribed size. SOLUTION: The bottom part of a hopper which stores lumpy mud is constituted with a belt conveyor which conveys the stored lumpy mud to a scraping part, a casing which is taller in height than the hopper and is nearly channel- shaped in cross-section is disposed in such a manner that an opening part of the casing is directed to the tip opening part of the hopper on the tip opening side of the hopper, a scraping rotor having the many scraping blades therein is freely vertically-movably disposed inside the casing and the tops of the scraping blades are disposed in close vicinity of the tip opening part of the hopper.
