SOLUTION: In the printing system constituted of the printer and a computer to be connected with the printer, printing is managed by intrinsic IDs by every user, use status for resources of the printer is held, the use status for the resources is updated according to the functions of the printer that uses the resources of the printer, and restriction to the resources of the printer usable by the user is relieved according to the updated use status.
