Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for driving simulation enabling operation like driving a real automobile, etc. SOLUTION: A driver's seat casing 60 of the driving simulation device 10 imitates the driver's seat of a real passenger vehicle. The driver's seat casing 60 is equipped with an emergency brake 49, a gearshift 50, a steering wheel unit 40, a combination switch 52, an ignition key 51, and a combination meter unit 54. Three monitors-a left side monitor 21, a center monitor 22, a right side monitor 23-are equipped in front of the driver's seat casing 60. The left side monitor 21 and the right side monitor 23 face slightly inward, and the three monitors-the left side monitor 21, the center monitor 22, the right side monitor 23-display a realistic forward view of the driver. A camera 58 for detecting the driver's actions is equipped on the upper part of the center monitor 22.
