Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a spacer dispersion liquid for liquid crystal display element used for wet scattering process, by which the peeling of adhesive resin from the surface of a spacer particle can be reduced. SOLUTION: When the coated spacer particles having a coated layer consisting of polymer adhesive resin formed on the surface thereof are dispersed in a solvent while being irradiated with ultrasonic wave, the temperature of the dispersing liquid is maintained lower than the glass transition temperature of the polymer adhesive resin by >=40 deg.C. Thereby, the peeling of the polymer adhesive resin from the surface of the spacer particle can be reduced.
