HIGH FREQUENCY HEATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating device which cooks rice soft and well, even if temperatures of rice, water and a rice cooking container when starting heating, and rice cooking amount are different. SOLUTION: This high frequency heating device 10 is provided with a heating chamber 11 for storing the rice cooking container 13 at the inside, a high frequency generator 12 for supplying high frequency energy to the heating chamber 11, an infrared ray sensor 15 for detecting infrared ray radiation energy from the rice cooking container 13, and a control part 18 for controlling an output of the high frequency generator 12 by a detection signal from the infrared ray sensor 15. When the infrared ray sensor 15 detects a first prescribed temperature and a second prescribed temperature higher than the first prescribed temperature after starting rice cooking, the control part 18 calculates expected heating time by multiplying time till detecting the second prescribed temperature from the first prescribed time by a prescribed coefficient and performs a heating control to finish a rice cooking process when the expected heating time is added to the time for detecting the second prescribed time passes.
