CRANE AND OPERATION METHOD FOR CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crane and an operation method of the crane capable of reducing an operator's fatigue and establishing an enhancement of workability and a safe working environment for the crane by reducing a visual recognition distance or a dead angle when the operator visually recognizes a hung baggage. SOLUTION: A constitution that a crane work can be carried out an optional height position is formed by providing a lifting means for lifting an operation room 50. The lifting means is provided with a rack provided along a body frame 3; a pinion 53 engaged with the rack and provided in the operation room 50; and a motor 52 driving the pinion 53 and provided in the operation room 50. Providing limit switches 60, 61 or the like prevents any deviation to the outside of the lifting range. A cable connected to the operation room 50 is fixed at an approximately mid way of the lifting range.
