SILENCER FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that engine noise at idling, traveling, especially at accelerating is largely leaked outside a vehicle from a lower part of a side of the vehicle and causes problems as the idling vehicle outside noise and acceleration noise. SOLUTION: A step 2 horizontally protruded on a lower part of an entrance of the side of the vehicle 1 as an auxiliary device at getting on the vehicle is lowered to be used as a soundproof wall with respect to the noise leaked outside from the lower part of the side of the vehicle 1, and a resonator as a noise absorbing device is formed on an opposite surface of a step tread 2a of the step 2 so that the noise is reduced. The step 2 works as a damping material in order to damp the vibration of the vehicle 1, and thereby the vibration noise is also reduced.
